Is anyone still going on road trips these days? It is a fascinating way to travel, no doubt, if you have the time to just get in the car and enjoy the sights. It beats getting on a plane, suffer through the uncomfortable seat and, often enough, unpleasant closeness to obnoxious co-travelers, any day. ... The six friends in Arizona based filmmakers Chris Carter and Clif Lowpriest’s new indie horror ‘Road Trip’ probably thought the same thing and went on a spontaneous road trip together. Bad decision, as the first trailer will prove. Come on inside and check it out.

Contest Honors Three PCC Poets

Pima Community College students Brittany Katter, Winter Kane and Marcus Montez were recognized at the 19th annual Hearst Poetry reception on March 23.

Katter won ... for a poem entitled "Sheeba." Kane was recognized for “Sestina in the Sheets” and Montez for “On the Bus.”
